Why do we need sponsors?

Putting on a major art exhibition in Sussex does not come cheap, particularly an art exhibition that is free to visitors. There are many hidden costs involved such as things like running this website and making sure that we have insurances in place. There is so much more to running a major art exhibition then perhaps you might think.

We didn’t want to go down the route of charging visitors to see the art, as that partly defeats the object. We really want people to see the fabulous art from Sussex artists. So to help cover the costs we look to corporate sponsors and in return for their sponsorship we promote their businesses to the art collectors, artists, other sponsors and the the art loving general public.

If people only knew how hard I work to gain my mastery. It wouldn't seem so wonderful at all.
― Michelangelo

Want to be a sponsor in 2024?

We can’t make The Sussex happen without the sponsorship and support of the corporate sector. We still have some sponsorships available but we want it to be a win/win situation. We don’t just want your money (although it is very helpful) we also want to make sure our sponsors get value from their involvement. Having your business on board will mean that we can promote you to three distinct groups:

  •  High net worth art collectors and the art press

  • New, emerging, and established Sussex artists

  • The art loving public across the South East and London

If our available sponsorships aren’t right for you and you have an idea of something that might work better, then please let us know. We are very happy to tailor something that suits. If you would like to discuss sponsorships or partnerships for 2024 then please email us.
